I am an advanced candidate in training with Ontario Association of Jungian Analysts offering psychoanalysis/ psychotherapy under supervision. "Asma" translates to "names." During our meetings, we will work on recognising your emotions they arise and naming them. This practice will assist you not only in understanding your emotions but also in healthier adaptation. The process will empower you to effectively engage with the challenges of daily life and interactions. It happens as we engage in developing a deeper sense of self.
I deal with suffering around the loss of sense of self or purpose, and also with the stressors around religious, spiritual, and/or cultural identity. My work with you will include talk-therapy, dream-analysis, expressive-arts, and gentle embodiment practices, for the purpose of experiencing the complex dynamics of psyche and its impact on your body and soul.
Our first session would be a consultation session for you to assess whether I'm the person you want to accompany you as you delve deeper into knowing your self. My approach is client-centred, focused on connecting you to your inner axis so you navigate by your North Star.
