Hi my name is Arthur Lau. Thanks for stopping by my profile! I have a Masters of Social Work degree and have been a Social Worker in the mental health field for over 18 years. I have worked with a diverse group of people throughout my career addressing a variety of different challenges and situations. I am able to connect with people in a genuine, meaningful way and support them in identifying what would benefit them and how to achieve it. I make accurate and insightful assessments of a person's situation, patterns or relationships and help them to move forward in their journey for healing, self discovery and life satisfaction.
I specialize in addressing a variety of mental health concerns. This could range from developing coping skills for low mood and anxiety to addressing the root causes of trauma. I also have years of experience with family, relationship and caregiver therapy, grief and loss, stigma, system navigation and cultural issues (especially Chinese and Asian culture)
