In my practice as a Licensed Counselling therapist I work with children (6+), teens, adults and families who may be experiencing; anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, or family separation/divorce. In my experience, people generally seek counselling with a desire to feel heard and understood, to develop skills and to leave feeling more equipped to face life’s challenges.
I create a therapeutic space to validate, accept and safely explore your emotions and recognize your needs. Using a trauma informed, person centred approach I work collaboratively with clients to build a treatment plan that will meet your needs. Treatment methods include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, ACT, Interpersonal Psychotherapy and play-based practices
