For over 2 decades I have provided evidence-based psychotherapy to adults for a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, burn out, time management, and goal setting. Some clients need only a few sessions to achieve specific therapy goals, while others prefer to spend more time taking a more in depth look at complex issues effecting their daily lives.
I use an integrative therapeutic approach that includes the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic techniques. Every individual comes to therapy with their own unique set of challenges and ways of seeing the world. Tailoring therapeutic approaches to individual needs is the ideal way to maximize treatment success.
My practice has always served culturally diverse groups, and whenever relevant, I seek to acknowledge the role, if any, of an individuals' cultural group on their well being and mental health.
