I have a passion for promoting the mental health, well-being, and resiliency in children, adolescents, adults and their families. I have experience and enjoy working in the following areas: Depression, anxiety, stress management, emotional regulation, grief and loss, parent/child issues, self- esteem, and adjustment/life transitions. Additionally, I am able to provide therapy through the use of Animal Assisted Interventions with my canine partner.
I have an extensive background in working with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety and grief in their lives, contributing to their mental health concerns. I believe the sole focus of counselling is not merely to treat mental health disorders, but also to provide clients with tools that foster personal growth, confidence, and happiness.
I believe in providing a unique mental health service that can help balance one’s life through various modalities such as, working with dogs, nature and positive re-framing of thoughts in the counselling process, which in turn will help motivate, inspire and provide hope through the journey of counselling.
