I am a registered clinical psychologist who serves children, adolescents, and their families. For more than 20 years, I have provided psychological assessment, treatment, and consultation services in both public and private mental health settings. I have had the opportunity to work many years with complex populations through McMaster Children's Hospital and an outpatient mental health clinic housed on the University of Guelph campus. I am trained and have experience working with children and their families struggling with a wide range of issues including anxiety disorders, depression, learning difficulties, trauma, adjustment issues, interpersonal and relationship issues.
While my clinical interests are varied, I specialize in anxiety and childhood trauma. I work with children struggling with anxiety in its various forms, have expertise in Selective Mutism, and am committed to sensitively providing supports to children/youth who have been exposed to trauma and to those who care for them.
In addition to my clinical work, I offer consultation and skills-training workshops to caregivers/professionals. It is essential that you feel comfortable working with your service provider.
