I offer counselling for individuals (16+) who are experiencing symptoms of trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, interpersonal related challenges and issues with self-worth, among others. I am experienced in helping clients to examine the root causes of their symptoms. I utilize trauma informed therapeutic approaches to help clients process unresolved past experiences and unhelpful beliefs, improving one's ability to cope in the present.
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), an evidence-based treatment for PTSD and trauma related issues. I also incorporate other approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) into my practice.
I bring unconditional positive regard, warmth and compassion to my practice and I aim to provide a safe, respectful and non-judgemental therapeutic space to you while we collaboratively work to achieve your goals.
