At the core of my work, is the therapeutic relationship we co-create together. I believe that the key processes of change are built on important parts of such a relationship like empathy, authenticity, understanding and trust. I often support clients experiencing overwhelming anxiety, sadness, loneliness, life changes, relationship issues, and trauma. I aim to help individuals feel less alone in their experiences, more capable at managing difficult emotions, and a deeply felt sense of internal strength in the face of hardship.
My approach values the therapeutic relationship, is highly empathic, curious, and experiential. Often leading to changes in the real world by welcoming and processing difficult feelings, thoughts, and experiences in session. Changes that may include relief, clarity, openness, and changes in old patterns and relationships.
I am dedicated to going at each client's pace and in co-creating trust and safety which will look and feel differently to everyone. Little Explorers: A Group for Kids with Worries
This is a virtual workshop for children who experience worries between the ages of 6-8 and parents. In this group, we will explore topics like what worries are (ex. worries about school, friendships, and the dark), a growth mindset, mindfulness, communication skills, and strategies for coping with worries. The group will run for 5 weeks. Worries can be tough for little ones, in this group, we will explore what worries are like, how they affect the body, feelings, and thinking; and ways to approach worries with curiosity and compassion. Cost $60 per week.
