Do you spend much or all of the time feeling overwhelmed and over-stimulated? If so, you are not alone. Research suggests that roughly 15-20% of the population is highly sensitive. Highly Sensitive People (HSP) tend to process information more thoroughly than others, which can be a survival advantage but also lead to feeling overwhelmed. They also tend to be empathic, easily overstimulated by noise and smell, attuned to subtle environmental cues, and require more “downtime” than other people. If this sounds like you, you have come to the right place.
Using the principles of Dynamic Emotional Integration, I will teach you to work with your emotions rather than against them. Using gentle boundary-setting techniques, you will learn to control the flow of sensory input to reduce feelings of over-stimulation while communicating your needs to others.
