I work to create a non-judgmental space where I can hear and understand your experiences, while additionally offering reflection, feedback, and guidance for change. I believe that counselling offers a place where we can feel heard, validated and understood, but I also know that without encouragement for change we can feel stuck. The mind- body connection is a powerful one. Finding the balance between empathy and growth is unique for each person, and it is a dynamic we explore together.
I have a Masters of Arts in counselling psychology, and use and integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches. Together we tailor the counselling experience to meet your specific goals. Somatic approaches are woven into all approaches to address the mind-body connection.
I have been described as warm and empathetic and many people report that I am easy to connect with. I deeply care about building a therapeutic relationship built on safety, respect and transparency.
