Sometimes our journey in life takes an unexpected turn, it can leave us feeling confused, angry, hopeless, and alone. It can also be exhausting trying to balance and maintain all our responsibilities. You might be a child/teen trying to navigate social media, friends, school, and life transitions; or your an adult unsure of what's next for you, struggling in a relationship, a profession, paying bills, or raising a family. I provide a non-judgmental, collaborative, and integrative approach to therapy. I incorporate evidence-based principles from a variety of therapy models to individualize treatment and prioritize your goals.
I have over 20 years of experience working with families impacted by addictions, mental health disorders, trauma, separations, emotional regulation, anxiety, and navigating major life transitions. I have an extensive history of working with children, youth, adults, couples, and families. I also incorporate the use of a service dog when requested.
I believe in the importance of building supportive therapeutic relationships and creating a safe environment to foster growth and adaptive behaviours. Through compassion, empathy, and acceptance, I aim to journey alongside my clients in discovering and developing the tools and resources they need to achieve their therapeutic goals.
