Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I have experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, and offer short- and long-term psychotherapy for individuals coping with anxiety, OCD, trauma, interpersonal problems, depression, and many other issues. My PhD in Clinical Psychology from Stony Brook University, New York, has well prepared me to offer evidence-based treatments for a wide range of mental health concerns. Prior to coming to Toronto, I worked as a Clinical Psychologist in New York where I continue to hold licensure.
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), along with elements of other evidence-based treatments like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Evidence-based treatments are those that have been shown to be the most effective through rigorous scientific research.
