I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and families from a diverse range of cultural, ethnic, socio-economic and educational backgrounds. More specifically, my previous clinical experiences have afforded me the unique experiences of working with troubled teenagers suffering from addictive behaviors, refugees who have experienced significant trauma, couples pursuing international adoption.
I believe that an authentic connection built on mutual trust, empathy and understanding is the bedrock of a fruitful therapeutic relationship. My practice is based on a client-centred, strengths-based approach and takes on a psychoeducational perspective in order to help my clients explore and achieve their true potential.
