I bring a gentle, whole-person approach to therapy with a focus on creating safety and building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I draw from Narrative, Mindfulness-based, Trauma-informed, and Emotion Focused Therapy approaches to support clients with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, chronic illness, Lyme disease and tick-borne infections, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, disability issues, learning disabilities, self-esteem, interpersonal challenges, and life transitions.
I hold a Masters of Social Work from the University of Toronto and have completed clinical training at The Toronto Western Hospital, Women’s College Hospital, and the Hinks-Dellcrest Centre. For the past 15 years, I have also worked in post-secondary education providing disability supports and counselling support to young adults.
