Starting therapy with someone new can be tough. Finding the right therapist for you can be even tougher. I've worked with clients who have bounced around a lot, who are looking for someone who makes them feel heard, seen, and understood. If you want a safer, inclusive, non-judgmental person to offer some support with your challenges and goals, I'd love to meet you.
I take a trauma-informed, relational, feminist approach to my work. I understand that a lot of traditional, institutional methods of mental health support don't work for folks, or can actually do more harm. Healing takes time, and a connection that helps you feel safe and seen can be one more tool in your toolbox.
We've all got mental health. We're all humans who sometimes need some support. We can all learn more about ourselves and ways to take care of our brains, our bodies, and each other. There's no shame in struggling, and there's no shame in reaching out. If you think I sound like the right fit for you, please get in touch with me.
