I aim to walk alongside you in your journey to explore and navigate your distressful thoughts, emotions, and behaviours and arrive at a place where you can feel like yourself again. Reaching out for help may be difficult but I believe success comes from working together as a team. I support clients (4+) experiencing anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, complex interpersonal relationships, bullying, self-esteem, body image issues, self-harm, trauma, and parenting issues such as navigating divorce or separation, and behaviour guidance. Together we can find the right fit for you to help you feel like you can succeed.
Together we can explore your goals for therapy and identify some of the underlying issues of why you or your child may be struggling. My practice includes CBT, ACT, DBT, CPT and mindfulness-based techniques. Alternately, my training as an ECE has shown me that the use of therapeutic play creates a safe space for children to explore big feelings and thoughts.
My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity and openness and begins with creating a safe, non-judgmental emotionally supportive environment where your needs are valid, and your feelings are important. You can reach out for a free 25-minute consultation or book a session and we can explore if we are a good fit to begin your therapy journey together.
