Hello and welcome! I understand it can be scary and difficult when living through adverse or challenging experiences in your life whether past or present. Most important to our work together is creating a space that is yours, and supports healing emotionally, physically and spiritually. My 10 years of experience within the mental health system has provided me opportunity to work extensively with trauma, anxiety, depression and relational issues. My approach can be described as empowering, motivational and respectful of each individual’s intrinsic value and strengths. I am a proud ally and member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community .
I have an eclectic and engaging practice style, utilizing trauma-informed frameworks, narrative therapy, structural dissociation/internal family systems and the mind and body connection. I am also particularly interested in the ways in which our socio-political context and environment impacts our mental health and understanding of self.
