I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor who is fascinated by the human experience, and by how much transformative healing can happen within a safe and trusting connection. I bring kindness and curiosity to my work, and know we all have an innate ability to heal and connect more deeply to the self and others. I support individuals with issues relating to religious/ spiritual trauma, regulating emotions, communicating more effectively, LGBTQIA+ and changes and adjustments in adolescence and early adulthood. I have experience supporting other counsellors as well.
My practise is grounded in relational and experiential modalities. I incorporate embodiment practises, mindfulness, and neuroscience based theories and ideas into my work. I also find it helpful to look at the systems and environments that contribute to our personal experiences. I am level 1 trained in AEDP and Internal Family Systems.
It’s important to make space for all the parts of ourselves, even when it might be difficult or uncomfortable. I’m here to celebrate all that makes you the unique person you are, while supporting you in feeling connected to both yourself and others.
