I believe in treatment from the biopsychosocial perspective. From the biological perspective - pain management, nutrition, exercise, sleep; the psychological perspective - education, stress management, emotional regulation; and the social aspect - relationships, conflict resolution, and more. I provide an open and non-judgmental space where we can explore your life, thoughts, behaviour, emotions and relationships, and together work towards reducing unwanted thoughts and feelings. I also encourage nature therapy, where you reconnect with nature and improve your sense of peace.
Allen is a Registered Psychotherapist, Fascial Stretch therapist and Certified Personal Trainer. This combination allows him to approach each individual from a comprehensive, biopsychosocial approach. Many of my clients have suffered from trauma in some form or another. I spend time knowing what really matters to you, and what it would mean to heal.
Allen will take the time to get to know you and your history to truly assist your journey to a deeper understanding of yourself and self-development. I have spent much of my adult life on self-awareness and improvement. We will work together to develop a therapeutic relationship where the goals and needs are discovered and achieved together.
