Welcome, I am so pleased you landed here. Maybe you're exploring your identity, feeling stuck in an unhelpful behaviour pattern, or feeling anxious or down; maybe you're experiencing unresolved memories or feelings coming up; or maybe you don't quite feel how you would like to feel about yourself at this point in your life. I can help you to make sense of these experiences and make the changes you want. While I work with clients on a range of concerns, I have extensive experience working with people who have endured abuse or neglect, as well as with people of transgender experience and LGB folks.
I specialize in anti-oppressive, identity-affirming therapy for depression, anxiety, dissociation and complex ptsd. My integrated approach includes EMDR, CBT, parts work, attachment-based and psychodynamic therapies. I offer transition-related surgery preparation visits as well as surgical letters of support.
My belief is that a nonjudgmental space allows folks to become more self-aware, more self-accepting, and more intentional about the way they live their lives.
