My name is Alicja (she/her), and I am a first generation Canadian of Polish heritage. I am also a senior doctoral student completing my Clinical Psychology degree under the supervision of Dr. Chris Cardoso. In my clinical work, I integrate theories from multiple evidence-based approaches (e.g., DBT, ACT, CBT, and psychodynamic therapies) to gain a deeper understanding of your challenges. I often enrich this exploratory work with the invitation to learn skills tailored to your needs. I frequently use humour, validation, and metaphor in sessions.
