In session together, I want to help create a safe space where you take that compassionate break without feeling guilty. The most uncomfortable feeling can often times be sitting with discomfort or being a friend to yourself. In our space we can work to unpack the stress surrounding your day to day worries and look at strategies to help foster self-compassion and push you closer towards the life you want to live and the person you hope to be.
Therapy is not easy. To support you along your journey, I will act as a witness to your story as we weed through the challenges and take moments to celebrate your strengths. My virtual clinic allows you to explore what's in your heart and mind's eye from the comfort of your own space. Being ourselves, genuine and authentic, is how to honour your experiences.
The phrase, "I'm going through it" has been used as a response in times of feeling weighed down. Instead, let's change the perspective and say, "I'm growing through it" because we can learn a lot about ourselves during times of strife.
