I offer experienced, results oriented, Counselling and Psychotherapy to Adults, and Couples for a broad range of issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, self esteem, and relationship conflict. My approach is known to be friendly, and straight forward with a touch of humour. I offer a variety of therapy modalities, and I specialize in the areas of Depression and Relationships. I will help you to feel happier, and more confident, with improved communication skills, new perspective, and new options! I view each client as unique, and we work together to find the best solutions for you.
I also offer Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), which is a short term evidence based model for the treatment of clients with depression or low mood. IPT is recommended by the Canadian and American Psychiatric and Psychological Associations as the gold standard of treatment equal in its effectiveness to CBT.
I work in a compassionate, solution focused manner, with a strength in problem solving. My clients appreciate having choice in the therapy modality that we undertake. Clients also have a choice in the session to session focus. Clients are free to choose the number of sessions that works for them. Your happiness is a top priority!
