Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, as if there aren't enough words to describe everything you’re feeling. Perhaps you’ve noticed that your capacity for day-to-day life just isn’t what it once was. Or maybe you’ve been reflecting on your life experiences and want a place to safely examine the collection of joyful and difficult things you’ve been through. I work with individuals who are seeking to connect more deeply to themselves and others. This often includes helping people to navigate shame, anxiety, negative views of self, relationship challenges, and the impacts of sexual violence and other traumas.

My passion for counselling stems from a belief that mental health support should be accessible to all individuals. We all face moments in life where we need support. I hope to work with individuals willing to dive deep into their experiences and the structures influencing them. Together, we will collaborate to create a meaningful path forward. This will mean being open to new experiences and perspectives that we will explore within the safety of the therapeutic relationship. In partnership, we will seek new ways of understanding yourself and the world around you.

That I am a person! This is good to remember, as starting therapy can be intimidating (which credentials, specialties, frameworks are best, which therapist?), in the end, therapy is about building an honest, safe, and trusting relationship - a 'healing relationship' with another person.
Humor, genuine compassion and empathy are necessary for healing - especially the humor part! Which is why they are benchmarks of my clinical practice. Combined together, the healing force created is a 'game changer' in people's lives. My approach to psychotherapy is person centered (congrats, you are unique! Your therapy should be too), grounded in attachment theory (relationships are our friend! Don't argue...everyone needs a friend) and developmental psychology (we all go through life changes, change suucks, but it's unavoidable). All this guides our path to wellness. Heads up - standard credential speech ahead...

Together we can find a solution and make the changes that will make a difference in your life. Together we will work towards making life less stressful, overwhelming and more enjoyable! I focus on building a strong and affirming relationship with all my clients.
Have you been noticing anxiety, fear, or judgment taking up space in your life lately, or holding you back from finding joy, meaningful relationships, motivation, or confidence? Has it been difficult to understand or live authentically in your gender identity or sexuality? I work with youth, young adults, and families struggling with their identity (trans-affirming), sexuality (2SLGBTQlA+, queer-affirming space), anxiety, low mood, "big emotions", relationships, school-related challenges, or the stress of everyday life. By exploring values and ways to work with our emotions, we can foster a life of authenticity and self-acceptance.

From a young age, I’ve been drawn to understanding people, listening to their stories, and offering support. I believe that simply being there for someone can be a powerful remedy. My commitment to building a collaborative relationship with clients allows me to meet them where they are in each session. I understand the courage it takes to confront life’s challenges, and I’m here to walk with you on that journey. I enjoy supporting children and teens in bettering their mental health, fostering hopefulness and positive thinking, and processing their emotions and experiences.

I have experience working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, family dynamics, relationship stress, chronic or life-altering illness, infertility, as well as women's reproductive health and pelvic pain.
Beginning to start working through our own personal stress and distress can be overwhelming and intimidating. Working with clients to find new ways of coping, process past experiences and trauma, and establishing healthy boundaries are some of my goals as a therapist, and I aim to provide a safe and comfortable place for that work to happen.
