I am a neurodiversity-affirming counselor and certified ADHD life coach working with adults, couples and seniors struggling in their relationships, their workplace or at home.
Whether you self-identify as an ADHDer or love someone who is, if you want support from someone who really gets it, I can help. If you seek answers to the challenges that often go with being an ADHDer, or if you're newly diagnosed and seek guidance on moving forward, I can help. If overwhelm, stress, or anxiety is making it difficult to function, I can help. If you're feeling misunderstood, alone, frustrated or hopeless in a relationship with an ADHDer or non ADHD partner, I can help. If you seek a better connection with those who matter, but struggle to create healthy boundaries and communication, I can help.

Love and Loss Therapy can help children, teenagers and adults process their pain, turn to love and see how loss can be a powerful catalyst for change and opportunity for growth. Losing someone or something meaningful can be profoundly painful and life changing. It can bring up challenges managing emotions including anxiety, stress, shame, sadness and more. Understanding how to manage and move forward with these feelings can give you freedom and healing.

I bring 20 years of experience focused on individual therapy with a variety of clients, including teenagers, adults and parents.
I believe the most important predictor of successful therapy is the quality of the client-therapist relationship. Finding the right therapist to talk to and collaborate with, is key to establishing a fresh new perspective and to create a plan for success. Trust, compassion, and respect are necessary in forming a good therapeutic relationship.

My practice offers counselling to young people, adults and specialized separation/parenting services for families. Challenges experienced by clients may include: navigating family change, stress, anxiety, peer/romantic relationships, self-regulation, and managing behaviours (ADHD, OCD, ODD). As a Collaborative Family Professional, I work with parents wanting to minimize conflict for their family as they go through transition and change. I provide emotional support throughout the out-of-court process, help caregivers build skills to co-parent, and neutrally facilitate meetings during the collaborative process.

I work from a trauma-informed perspective, assisting adults and university students experiencing overwhelm, stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, trauma, shame, relational challenges, grief, and life transitions to learn new skills to manage difficult thoughts and feelings.
Repeated experiences of stress, adversity, or trauma can create a disconnect from our authentic selves, leading us to develop habits and ways of coping that may no longer serve us. When life gets hard, unhelpful thoughts can make us doubt ourselves, making us feel like we're lost, stuck, or not good enough. Please know that you're not alone in feeling this way. We all have these moments, varying in intensity. I offer a supportive space where we can work together to help you build the life you desire. My approach combines Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, tailored to your needs.

My experience is rooted in the work I have done in community, educational and health-related settings providing front-line support to Indigenous and 2SLGBTQQ adults and families exploring queerness (gender identity, sexuality), coping with unresolved pain, intergenerational trauma, grief and trauma.
Hello! I am crip queer femme who is Métis/Scottish. I am a trained counsellor and registered social worker, with a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from York University’s School. In my practice, I work from an integrative place: braiding together somatics, psychoeducation, ancestral wisdom to support your journey to come back home to yourself. I primarily work from a somatic place (Somatic Experiencing), but also include mindfulness and self-compassion in my work. I am deeply invested in collective liberation and healing as a community. Foundational to my practice are the values of self-determination and non-interference.

I see a great deal of attachment trauma, which is early wounding by misattuned adults.
Do you feel alone with depression, anxiety, social phobia, emotional eating or other issues that keep you from living a satisfying life? Do you feel weighed down instead of feeling alive and enthusiastic? I am here to walk with you so you can be supported to get to a new place in life. Don't do it alone. Sometimes people feel they should just get over it or work on things by themselves. As an experienced therapist I can assist you to make the journey faster.

I work in private practice and at Sunnybrook Hosital's Odette Cancer Centre. I specialize in working with adults who: are managing health-related conditions like cancer; want to make lifestyle changes; and/or want to improve their mood and reduce stress. Of course, physical health doesn't operate in a vacuum and is often affected by state of mind, social relationships, finances, work situations, past trauma, family life and intimate relationships. With this in mind, I work holistically to support people to manage life stressors, mental health diagnoses, relationship problems and more.

I work with adults, adolescents, and parents of children of all ages.
Everything can be broken down into small and manageable steps, and even small shifts can produce significant change and offer much needed relief. If you or your loved one (child, adolescent, or partner) seems to be stuck in repeating behaviours, or patterns that are stretching your patience and energy reserves, you've come to the right place. I'm here to help shoulder some of the emotional weight you've been carrying, and to let you know there is hope, tangible tools and strategies, and positive change on the other side of bravely stepping into this process.

I work with adolescents and adults often suffering from anxiety and other stress related symptoms. You may be experiencing a lot of pressure in school, work, or your relationships and have trouble finding a balance. Maybe you are having a hard time meeting the expectations of others and feel they can't relate to what you are going through. Or perhaps you are going through a major life transition and feel you have no time for yourself.

Previously, I have worked with adults with disabilities or chronic health concerns to cope with pain, reduce anxiety, and become more compassionate towards themselves.
Is your chronic illness holding you back? Please know that you are worthy of living a fulfilling life. You are so much more than your illness. It can be challenging to carry on day to day. People around you may not understand just how much planning it takes to simply function when you are constantly low on energy, or how much effort you put in every single day to show up for yourself and others in spite of the pain. I see you, and I am here for you.

I provide therapy for adults who are struggling with multiple challenges in their life. Parenting, work, relationships, and financial difficulties can make you feel stressed, overwhelmed, stuck, uncertain, and/or exhausted just thinking about it all, let alone trying to do something about it. As these issues carry on, physical and emotional symptoms may start to develop, and altogether it becomes too much. I can help you work through it all, piece by piece, so that you can breathe easier and feel lighter.

If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, and uncertain about managing life's challenges, you might wonder whether it's possible to find peace amidst life's changes and transitions. I work with adults around various concerns including (but not limited to) challenging family dynamics, relationship issues, chronic illness and cancer, grief, and depression and anxiety. Within these dynamics, I have a particular focus in working with first- and second-generation immigrants of East Asian backgrounds. Every challenge we face holds potential for growth to live more authentically to who you are, and who you want to be.

Over the past 15+ years in the field, I have worked with children, youth and adults in community, legal, child protection, corporate and university settings. I have focused my practice on supporting Survivors of violence along their healing journeys (including gender based, domestic, intimate partner, sexual, family, intergenerational, spiritual & community violence). I have extensive experience working with Muslim, racialized and Queer-identified communities in both Canada and the USA, as well as Pakistan and Zanzibar. I also conduct sexual violence prevention at UofT where I work with faculty, staff & students.
