CHM Therapy and Beyond the Studio offer a range of psychotherapeutic services, specializing in individual therapy for young children, teens, adults, and seniors. I entered this profession because I want to help people live better lives. My goal is to build your tools, strategies and inner resources to help you to quickly resume optimal life balance and conclude your time in therapy. I want you to experience progress and positive results from the time that we spend working together. My intention is to create a safe and comfortable environment that is positive and open, without judgment, following your lead.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychtherapists of Ontario(CRPO) and a Music Therapist Accredited by the Canadian Association of Music Therapists (CAMT) and adhere to the professional codes set in place by each of these professional bodies.
I have special interest and many years of experience in supporting individuals with a new medical diagnosis, chronic or advanced illness, terminal illness and bereavement support. Techniques I draw upon may include cognitive behavioral therapy, educational counseling, mindfulness, and creative expressive modalities such as music therapy.
