I’ve worked as a counsellor for twenty-five years with non-profit agencies. I have experience and training in relationship issues (couples and parent & teen), addictions (including gambling and gaming), anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and managing emotions and stress. There's a lot that I have learned from my years of helping others which I will share with you. I'll bring my ideas, perspective, strategies and what has worked for others to appointments. My commitment as a counsellor is to help you experience positive, lasting change.

Why work with me in counselling? First, I provide treatment that works for you. I want you to get the help you need. I’ll tailor a counselling plan just for you, bringing in strategies I’ve found to be effective, and collaborate with you along the way.

Second, Comfort. What I commonly hear from clients is that I’m easy to talk to and helped them to feel comfortable. People also notice that I’m professional and committed to ethical practice, especially confidentiality. I strive to create safety in counselling. This means that I bring respect for all identities and orientations.
