I trained in various therapeutic modalities, including Relational Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and psychedelic-assisted therapy, and I am completing a master’s degree in clinical social work. I am designated by the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada (ACCT) to work as a registered therapeutic counsellor. I also completed the SFU Restorative Justice Certificate Program and am honored to support crime victims in their healing. My approach to counselling is attuned to safety, respectful of clients’ intuition and agency, and committed to principles of social justice, accessibility, and harm reduction. I specialize in trauma recovery, including complex relational trauma and spiritual abuse.
I spent years teaching literature at an urban university and enjoy facilitating therapeutic writing. I bring a strong mindfulness-based approach to counselling that is informed by years of contemplative practice, including yoga, meditation, and ceremonial approaches to healing. In addition I teach in the Numinus Wellness psychedelic-assisted therapy program.
