I believe in the human spirit, uniqueness of experience, personal strength, and the critical nature of support. In my practice, I work with individuals in a culturally sensitive manner that displays warmth, genuineness, and respect. Furthermore, I am dedicated towards empowering clients in helping them meet their goals. I have directed my practice to work with clients who are experiencing emotional distress, transitions, trauma, and with members of the military community. I work in helping clients emotionally regulate through the use of Self-Regulation Therapy, DBT, Narrative, and CBT approaches.

Hello, I have been in the field for over 18 years and enjoy working collaboratively with others to see their true potential. One of my specialties is working with people who have experienced trauma such as: childhood, single incident (ie. motor vehicle accident), or first responder. Besides trauma, I work with people managing life stressors such as work-related, separation or divorce, or perhaps dealing with the experiences of anxiety and depression. By working together through these typically challenging situations, it allows an opportunity to communicate, discuss and consider open possibilities for change.

As someone who values connection, I believe that a trusting relationship is truly the foundation for growth and healing. Whether it is anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, past trauma, or the stress of everyday life that has brought you to therapy, your stories and experiences are worthy of being seen. In my office, I strive to create a space that allows clients to unpack all the difficult, messy, and sometimes beautiful things life has thrown at them, and help create a path forward with new insight.

Hi, my name is Liam, and it is my hope that through my client-centred approach, we can create a space where you feel heard and seen! We all have unique lived experiences, and it is those experiences that shape who we are — you are the expert of your life, and my goal is to help guide you towards self-actualization. Trust and safety are the important groundwork for therapy, and I like to cultivate that through humour where it's appropriate as well as open, empathetic listening. I like to work with a variety of presenting problems, but specialize in anxiety, perfectionism, relationship problems, and men's issues.

Hi there! My name is Savneet. Building a relationship based on safety and trust is the foundation of my work. I work from an attachment-based lens, which means that I focus on understanding and addressing the impact of early relationships on individuals’ emotional well-being. My goal is to create a warm and welcoming space where you can feel safe to explore your experiences. I also incorporate humour, as it can help foster connection, promote resilience, and contribute to the healing process

Life can sometimes be a bit of a handful. Feelings of stress, overwhelm, and/or maybe just not knowing where to turn or what to do next. Often those times of challenge are our greatest growth, but it is difficult to see the opportunity for growth at the time. Sometimes just talking about those challenges, can help one gain perspective and develop a plan forward. My goal in therapy is to provide my clients with an objective perspective to see their problems or challenges differently, perhaps less daunting, helping them find a way forward. Life happens to all of us. I believe people are more capable than they realize.

The unfortunate truth is that life will always present tough times and challenges. Trauma and stress do not discriminate and can be immensely impactful. It may be easier at times to repress difficult feelings and emotions, rather than face them head-on. However, what is repressed can slowly seep out into multiple areas of one's life, impacting self-esteem, relationships, ability to cope, etc. Together, we can work on your goals to enhance what you already have within you to cope, regulate, and enhance your quality of life.

As a Registered Psychologist, I specialize in using neurofeedback therapy. It is a very unique type of therapy that I find to be incredibly effective for many mental health concerns. Trauma, either physical or emotional, can cause the brain to lose its balance. Instead of medications, or talk therapy, we go right to the source of many issues, the brain. By training the brain to have better activity, you will notice improvements in many areas of your life! Sessions are relaxing (many people even sleep through a session), very safe, simple and effective.

Hello! I am Jilynne, a radically honest therapist who appreciates humor and swearing (if you're into that). My primary goal in the early stages is to create a space that feels incredibly safe for you. So many people feel stuck and don't know how to move forward. I can help you look at things from many perspectives (emotional wounds in childhood, harmful thinking patterns, major life changes, and more) so that you no longer feel at a crossroads in life.

We all have the capacity to stray from our authentic selves, sometimes to gain approval or acceptance from others, or because our worth is tied to something outside of us. The further we shift from our truest selves, the more we see issues like anxiety and depression arise. I understand that seeking counselling and discussing your concerns with a stranger can be very intimidating. There are times in our lives, however, when this may not only be helpful, but even necessary. My goal is to help you rediscover your authentic self and to find the courage to begin living from a place of truth.

Hello! I am a Registered Psychologist and Registered Play Therapy Supervisor, passionate about supporting children, youth, and parents during times of challenge. I feel that there is a great capacity for growth within the moments that feel the hardest. I am well-versed in working with children and youth who have experienced trauma, and supporting parents/caregivers in responding to behaviours associated with such experiences. I believe that while mental health challenges in childhood and adolescence can be impactful, early intervention can have a positive impact on long term development.

Life is NOT easy! We did not sign up for many of the difficulties we face most days. More often than not, we simply feel STUCK. We find ourselves in personal and relational situations where we are completely stumped as to how to make effective changes. Other times we DO know what is best, but an inner reaction takes over–and we can't seem to do that right thing! Hello! So frustrating! Maybe your thoughts or feelings seem like they are out of your control, and you just need help to sort them out and find a way forward. I can help you with any of these challenges.

It can be hard to enjoy life, especially when our innermost thoughts and automatic reactions are difficult or painful. It can feel like we are "stuck" on autopilot causing many areas of our life to feel unsatisfying, stressful, or overwhelming. I help people get "unstuck" from the symptoms of stress that they have been trying to manage (panic, anxiety, relationship issues, reactivity, body pain). By reducing chronically held tension in our nervous system, we are better able to manage our responsibilities, our relationships, and recover easier. Therapy can help restore an inner calm and can help you come back to yourself.
