My therapeutic techniques include trauma-informed therapy, client-centred, strength-based, in addition to feminist therapy and narrative therapy.
I specialize in working with women who have suffered childhood trauma and are currently struggling in toxic relationships. As a professional, I support those who are struggling with the ongoing issue of being trapped in abusive relationships. These experiences can leave individuals feeling worthless and questioning their own sanity. Adequate sleep, meaningful intimacy with one's partner, and quality family time are pivotal in mitigating the effects of childhood trauma. I am here to help you achieve these goals, and to remind you that being part of a community that values and cherishes you is a basic human need.

Using the modalities of Narrative, as well as Cognitive-Behavioural therapies, my person-centered style creates a warm and non-judgemental place in which to explore your most sensitive and difficult issues.
I believe in supporting clients to move in the direction of their goals, and in the healing capacity of the helping relationship. A genuine caring relationship between the therapist and client is the foundation for effective therapy. I'm pleased to be trained in both Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure for Trauma clients, as well as CBT and DBT.

Drawing upon approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and others, I work to guide and support young people who feel lost alone, and often misunderstood.
Do you experience situations and problems that can bring anxiety and depression into your life? Have you felt the desire to move forward but you don't know how? Have you ever felt like you don't live up to your potential and you feel as if there is no point in trying. Is change and transition difficult for you? Do you sometimes feel that there are few, if any answers or solutions to your problems? These thoughts and feelings can pressure you to feel alone. Whether you are a youth, adolescent, or adult you have the strength and resources necessary to heal, grow, and succeed in removing these feelings and thoughts from your life.

My training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (Certified), Narrative Therapy, and EMDR guide me in the work we will do in therapy together.
“We are relational beings" and we discover ourselves in our relationship to others. When these relationships don’t feel “secure”, we may feel alone or in pain, causing personal struggles to be more difficult. My experience in counselling those who face marital, family, and parenting struggles, offers ways to overcome the barriers that get in the way of reaching out to those you love. I offer my authenticity and a supportive place to reflect, and discover new ways of viewing yourself to create positive change.

I offer a variety of modalities such as: narrative, EMDR, IFS, emotion-focused, and cognitive behavioural therapy.
Hi there, thank you so much for being here. As a psychologist, I believe in a collaborative and client centred approach to therapy. I am truly passionate about assisting individuals in navigating life's transitions, fostering emotional regulation, nurturing personal confidence and self-esteem, providing support during times of grief and loss, and cultivating a healthier mindset. By re-authoring the stories we tell ourselves and challenging the negative beliefs we may hold, our minds can be a safe space again. Additionally, I find great joy in using humour in my practice!

I have specialized training in Narrative Therapy and Forest & Nature Therapy, but I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach to counselling: cognitive, goal-oriented styles, somatic inquiry, or gentle polyvagal interventions are all in my tool box depending on what fits for you.
Affordable therapy: I want you to have access to therapy that is safe, open, trustworthy, and affordable. I’m a clinical social work student who works with adults to process trauma, build healthy relationships, and feel confident in LGBTQ+ identity. (Contact through email or JaneApp preferred!)

I draw from areas including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy.
My passion for working with children and adolescents comes from my background in Elementary Education. As long as I can remember I have always enjoyed working with this population and it has been a privilege to be able to apply my previous knowledge to support development and growth in the therapeutic space. A strong collaboration between myself, my client, supportive family members and other professionals is important to me. I call my office the “no judgment zone” where we are able to feel comfortable exploring various challenges and working towards finding viable solutions.
