My clinical approach integrates cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and attachment-focused approaches.
I am deeply passionate about helping clients who are struggling with regulating difficult emotions (anger, anxiety, sadness), symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder, and dealing with aftermath of traumatic stressors. At times, we need an objective compassionate outside perspective to help us go through challenging circumstances and I strive to provide this to all my clients. I work with clients to set realistic and attainable goals in areas they wish to work on as well as process emotions that are bubbling up and getting in the way of pursuing value directions.

The foundation of my work is trauma-informed, holistic, and mindfulness-based.
Have anxiety, depression, addiction, isolation, anger management issues, self-harm, or suicide ideation left you feeling concerned about the quality of your life? Perhaps you’ve struggled to resolve these issues on your own, to no avail? Are you ready to take 100% responsibility for your life and committed to making the necessary changes? Due to my own inter-generational trauma, I have a first-hand understanding of where you are in your life’s journey. I’d like you to know that the act of reaching out for help is a deeply courageous act, especially for most men, as most of us are conditioned to self-isolate and suffer in silence.

I predominantly use a blend of somatic therapy, IFS, mindfulness, & inner child work, but always tailor sessions to each individual.
I work with individuals struggling with low self esteem, anxiety and self-doubt due to a traumatic or abusive past. If you are a deeply self-aware person but still feel like your trauma symptoms are unresolved; if you experience a deep fear of failure and overwhelm; if you feel like you’re a burden to others and doubt your worth; or if you're a survivor of emotional or narcissistic abuse — please know that this is a soft place to land. My work focuses on building self-empowerment, implementing clearer boundaries, exploring the mindfulness and cultivating a sense of inner peace.

In practice, I draw from attachment theory, mindfulness, intuitive eating principals, and cognitive behaviour therapy.
We are each on a journey in search of safety, meaning, and fulfillment. Along the way we are constantly exposed to images and ideals of how we are supposed to look, how we are supposed to feel, and how we are supposed to behave. We start to doubt our uniqueness or our worth. I aim to create safe spaces to talk about things that might seem too personal, taboo, shameful, trivial, or embarrassing to share with others in your life. Together we can examine limiting beliefs about yourself, old stories of who you are and how you "should" be in the world, so you can start to live by choice, not by chance.

Are you finding a new phase of life has brought up past events that impact your life now? I'm dedicated to supporting you through life transitions. I support folks who are under pressure from career demands, aging parents, raising children and the stresses of modern life. Many of my clients grew up with parents who were emotionally unavailable, self-involved or extremely critical, and are trying to do things differently for themselves.
