Feeling exhausted, burned out, and frustrated with where your life is right now? Not knowing who you can talk to about these challenges? Whether it is from parenting, work, school, or just life, I know how hard it can be when things just feel like they keep piling up and up and up with no end in sight. Juggling multiple roles and feeling like you have no time for yourself is a battle many of us are facing. Both my personal and professional experiences give me the tools to help clients facing these struggles and I would love to connect and see how I can be a support to you, your family member, or family during these stressful times.

Humor, genuine compassion and empathy are necessary for healing - especially the humor part! Which is why they are benchmarks of my clinical practice. Combined together, the healing force created is a 'game changer' in people's lives. My approach to psychotherapy is person centered (congrats, you are unique! Your therapy should be too), grounded in attachment theory (relationships are our friend! Don't argue...everyone needs a friend) and developmental psychology (we all go through life changes, change suucks, but it's unavoidable). All this guides our path to wellness. Heads up - standard credential speech ahead...

Whether it's mental health or neurodivergency, relationship challenges or family conflicts that are adding to your struggles, I can be of therapeutic support to you. My hope is to help you begin to fill your cup before spilling out, or gently wipe up the mess if it already has. I'll provide you the education to understand why you're feeling the way you do and a safe space to express it. I also support you to communicate with those in your life who are struggling to understand how to help. In working with me, you'll finally let out a breath that's been stuck in your chest for far too long.

We all have our strengths and do what we can to deal with life’s many challenges. But sometimes we feel anxious, hopeless, depressed or confused, and need to speak confidentially, without feeling judged - about the very personal things going on in our lives. As a psychologist who gets that it all starts with kindness, clients find me compassionate, down-to-earth, and relatable - a trusted, supportive listener who knows how to help. You’ll always get straight-up answers and full transparency. No two minds are alike, which is why I draw from several science-backed therapy methods to customize therapy for people I work with.

I believe that every person has worth and value and that we are created for connection and relationship - relationship with ourselves, others, and the Divine. BUT - life can be hard and we can lose our way on all three levels. When we are relationally out of sink we tend to repeat old coping patterns that no longer serve us well. Healing comes when we take the "filter off" and courageously find our voice in a brave - safe space. We talk, we listen, we process and we heal. I have been in those places and know that change happens.
