I provide online therapy in AB, NS, & NB to women and therapists dealing with anxiety, trauma (single incident, complex, attachment, & family of origin), perfectionism, fertility issues, and the painful legacy of being an adult child of a narcissist. In therapy we will make space for all the parts of you and all the things you find hard to say and begin to understand how your beliefs about yourself developed in response to how you adapted to belong and survive in your life. I use psychodynamic, body-focused, mindfulness, EMDR, Flash, clinical hypnosis, and existential therapies to help you heal and get back to living well and fully.

Life transitions and expectations can be overwhelming. Maybe you are wearing many hats and feel like you've lost yourself balancing everyone else's needs. Or perhaps the losses you have faced are so heavy that it feels almost impossible to take the next step. I have over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families from diverse backgrounds who face challenges with relationships, grief or parenting. My experience includes supporting first and second-generation immigrants and mixed-raced individuals from a cross-cultural lens that addresses Identity, belonging, and intergenerational healing.

Welcome! I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist with a passion for helping people find their path to healing and wellness. I aim to provide a comforting environment for individuals to share their concerns and connect more deeply with themselves and others. I value holistic interventions that attend to the mind, body, and spirit. As a holistic practitioner, I also seek to understand presenting struggles in the context of relationships and the wider world. Coming to therapy can open the journey of reflecting inwards and asking ourselves what prevents us from living our best life.

It can be difficult to go to counselling, particularly for the first time. Finding a therapist that you feel comfortable with is an important, and at times challenging, process. You likely want someone that can give you direction or tools, but also you connect with and feel supported by. I too feel this is important and strive to provide you with an experience that is both warm / caring AND competent/ knowledgeable. For many years I have worked with individual's and couple's concerns in this manner. I specialize in helping individuals or couples move forward, heal their pain, feel happier and find more peace.

This is not how you imagined your maternity leave. Instead of feeling happy like you’re supposed to, you are anxious and always on the verge of tears. There’s a constant nagging feeling like you’re not good enough for your baby. And let’s not talk about the exhaustion. It scares you to hold your baby, but at the same time you can’t let go. So, you end up holding her during nap times…and never find the time to attend to our own needs. When you look in the mirror, it’s like you are looking at a stranger. It is no longer a matter of doing your best, it’s about surviving this season of life. Or is this how it will be forever?

I am passionate about helping people whose emotions have been in the driver's seat for too long, whether that be anxiety, shame, stress, or one of countless others. I work with individuals who identify as highly sensitive, those who struggle with anxiety and depression, and those who have been impacted by traumatic events in their lives. I emphasize learning and integrating skills to forge a healthy relationship with our emotions, something we have not all had the opportunity to develop. I love talking to people, hearing their story, and working together to balance acceptance of who we are with change that is meaningful and lasting.

Hi! Let’s take a deep breath: you’ve made it past the first step of identifying you need some help. In a world that is often too loud and busy, it is easy to fall into thought patterns that you are lacking; as a therapist, it is my role to help you shift that narrative from deficit to plenty. I believe mental health is fluid experience and that understanding your emotions and building meaningful coping strategies is key to sustainable resilience. My role is to create a safe and empathetic space for you to be vulnerable and show up as your authentic self. My practice style is grounded in attachment-based and family systems theory.
