DBT-informed Skillful Living Series
There are 3 modules in this series, with intakes in January, May, and September. *** (1) DISTRESS TOLERANCE: Learn to ride the wave of overwhelming emotions without making things worse, accept painful/unwanted realities, and reduce suffering (even when you can't avoid pain). *** (2) EMOTION REGULATION: Understand how emotions work, why we have them, and how to change their duration/intensity when they're unhelpful. *** (3) INTERPERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS: Improve your communication skills to ask for what you want/need, set limits, strengthen relationships and maintain self-respect. *** Modules are 6x1.5hr sessions each, 1 session per week. *** Visit eropsych.com/groups for more info.
