Parenting After Divorce/Separation

This group includes eight sessions where you will learn parenting and co-parenting skills that help children adjust after parental separation or divorce; understand how children at different ages respond to separation or divorce, what are the warning signs of stress at each age, and learn what you can do to help your children cope; You will be able to prepare a parenting plan: an agreement between parents about how they will raise their children going forward.

This is a ten-week group for teens who will learn to identify, understand, and change unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns. Teenagers will learn practical and effective techniques to decrease their anxiety by mastering: Relaxation, Coping with Panic, Overcoming Negative Self-Talk, Changing Mistaken Beliefs, Increasing Self-Esteem. Teens will have an opportunity to face their fears safely. We will have a parent session every four weeks where we meet separately to teach you how to encourage and support your teens to practice CBT skills during daily life.
