Unlike traditional approaches that label neurodivergent experiences as disorders that need fixing, this group adopts a neurodiversity-affirming approach. We validate, support, and respect neurodivergent minds by emphasizing strengths over deficits and honoring individuality. This includes learning to understand your unique brain, recognizing the challenges of navigating a neurotypical world, and valuing every mind equally.
