Parenting Children and Teens with Anxiety
Details: Tuesday July 18th 2023, 7:00pm-8:30pm virtually. In this 1.5 hour online parent group you will gain information about symptoms of anxiety and strategies for supporting your anxious child. We will review evidence-based approaches to helping children overcome their worries and fears including how to respond when your child is panicking, looking for reassurance, or being kept awake by their worries. Details: Wednesday July 26 2023, 7:00pm-8:30pm online. In this 1.5 hour online group we will discuss the impact of emotions on the brain and behaviours. We will explore the root causes of children’s large emotional outbursts and strategies to support and reduce them.
