Hal Shorey Ph.D.
Hal Shorey, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and professor of clinical psychology at Widener University outside of Philadelphia. He earned his doctorate from the University of Kansas before going on to complete his postdoctoral studies at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He conducts research, writes, and publishes on the impact of attachment styles on relationships at home and at work. He trains doctoral level psychologists in how to apply attachment theory in their work with clients and he works directly in helping people overcome their insecure attachment styles and experience increasingly healthy relationships.
