About

Angie Collins-Burke, RN, had over 25 years of experience as a bedside nurse, clinical resource nurse, intake coordinator, and nurse educator in Ontario when she suffered a debilitating stroke and saw her life instantly change from being a caregiver to becoming a patient. Following her stroke, she assisted other stroke survivors as a Stroke Mentor and volunteered with Peers Fostering Hope program through the March of Dimes. As a member of the Integrated Stroke Unit Working Group at The Ross Memorial Hospital in Ontario, Collins-Burke provided valuable input that was used to develop policies and procedures for a new unit. She is also the co-author of Just Pick Up The Peg: A Nurse's Journey Back From Stroke.

Suzanne Cronkwright, a technical writer, editor, and documentation and courseware consultant with over 36 years’ experience, earned her honors bachelor’s degree in psychology and English from Wilfrid Laurier University.
