Peyton Manning: Healing the Heart—Moving On
A gentleman, a professional
resonating with honor as he bids goodbye.

Peyton Manning separated from the Indianapolis Colts today with a heartfelt goodbye that resonated with high quality energy freeing him up to move ahead.
To move ahead freely is important for all of us as we face adversity in our lives. So lets learn from the play that the dynamic QB called in the eye of the huddle of the sports world...
Peyton and Family
Manning played quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts for 14 seasons and the Colts were the only professional football family he knew. The sense of family is important in worldly success. The positive energy of 'Family' when flowing, rather than stifled, needs to be flowing not stifled... provides the platform of support, acts as a pillar ofstrength from which we can thrive and blossom...
Peyton acknowledged the sacredness of his relationship with the Colts owner: the principle of power: Honor One Another... each relationship is sacred, especially our power relationships... Manning clearly had a personal relationship with the owner of the Indianapolis Colts and the
news reports describe how they had spent many months in negotiation to try to work out a solution to the conflict in their midst. That relationship was acknowledged in the press conference and interview, and he stood side by side with the ownership with deference and
respect in an act of valor, clean and clear, out in the open, vulnerable but authentic.
Humility: Ego and Accomplishment were set aside as Peyton said "Thank You"; Thank you for giving me opportunity... Here is a hall of famer, a legend, maybe one of the best ever, being asked to move on from his family, with recent injury, with doubt on his playing ability. But he stood there, with humility, and said thanks to his fans, his family, and the organization. The non verbal energy I got was that he remained confident in his value, more to offer in the
sport, not done yet creating his legacy. Personal Power, confidence that comes from knowing vibrated from his presence, and is an energy required to heal the spirit and heal the body.
Finally we must look into his heart. The heart center is very important in healing... his heart was rooted in a football family in Indianapolis; the fans were his community a place he had come to love...
Let's take a close concise look the details of this public closure.
There he was arriving with the Colts management: Honor your Family. They stood respectfully together, right or wrong, each speaking in turn, in thanksgiving for the past camaraderie. Honor each of those in relationship with us.
Give thanks for the opportunity... and I release you of further obligation, and in that release he is taking back his personal power. Clearly he is not a a victim caught in an injustice. He resonates in a place of personal power, power which can be used to heal and move on...
I saw Peyton Manning stand tall, in a marvelous moment of valor, in gratitude, a high energy state of being we can all use to bring closure to the past and propel us to our future. I believe he left the low energy states of grief, bitterness and resentment by the psychology of closure enacted today. I believe he forgave himself; the franchise, and I believe he will move on with a free open heart.
