Support group for parents

This is a parent support and relaxation group for parents of children with complex needs. At times, the demands of parenting children can fel unrelenting and overwhelming, particularly if your child needs specialised care. Sessions will provide relaxation techniques, optional art making, and the opportunity to connect with others.

Social Skills Art is an Expressive Arts group for teens (ages 13-18) that provides a creative, supportive and neuro-affirming space. Participants will have the opportunity to make art (such as drawing, painting, sculpting, collage), express themselves creatively and learn new art skills; practice and build communication and social skills; experience connection and explore personal interests and values. No prior experience with art-making is necessary to participate in this group.

The Creative Space - teens

The Creative Space is an Expressive Arts group for pre-teens (ages 10-13) that engages participants creatively in a collaborative, supportive and neuro-affirming environment. They will have the opportunity to make art (such as drawing, painting, sculpting, collage), express themselves creatively and learn new art skills; practice and build communication and social skills; experience connection and explore personal interests and values. No prior experience with art-making is necessary to participate in this group.
