I use an eclectic approach, to me, it’s all about the client. I listen to what’s important to the client and explore options to help clients reach desired outcome. For me going into private practice was so I could create the environment that the client feels welcome, relaxed and safe to talk about anything. I Believe that my role is to guide the client to where they what to be. Life is about living not existing therefore let’s create the history you want.

Do you feel like you are not living the life you imagined, feeling overwhelmed, struggling with day to day stressors and not even close to reaching your potential? Do you suffer from anxiety and negative thinking patterns which take you away from the life you want to lead? Do you feel like there's something holding you back from performing at your best? Imagine you could wake up and you had learnt to live with your fear, anxiety, stress and life's struggles and they weren't holding you back anymore and you were able to thrive. Wouldn't that be great!

I have experience with clients from all walks of life.
Hi, I'm Zenobia. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I hope I can be of assistance. I use a holistic approach where we look at thoughts, feelings, behaviours, and self (mind, heart, body and soul) within the biological, familial, cultural, social, and political contexts in which we are born and live. I am interested in more than just easing your symptoms. Therapy will raise your self awareness and bring into consciousness the unconscious wishes and fears which drive behaviour and underlie psychological distress. By integrating these forces, we realise the true self and can begin to live authentically.

Change is a universal, life constant - and yet it so often resisted. It seems to happen without our consent, against our will - and too often without active measures to make the most of it. Working compassionately with people in all the throes of change, in a counselling, educational and facilitative capacity, I see the vast difference in process and outcome between those who lean into and own the experience, as opposed to those who resist or dread change and see themselves as victims of something beyond their influence or control - It's no mystery which type adapts better. So why not choose to thrive amid change?

Have you tried counselling before, and found the counsellor just kept saying 'and how did you feel about that'? Or the opposite - been given too many heavy-lifting thought-managing strategies that don't address the problem at its core? Try one 'Journey of Life' session for free (limited availability) and provide feedback on how you find the approach.
Hi, I'm Nicky Linton and If you are struggling and would like therapy using proven methods in a safe space, I'd love to hear from you. I'm a Masters qualified Counsellor working with Individuals and Couples. I specialise in Anxiety (of all kinds), Depression, Self-Esteem, Communication and Relationships, as well as Trauma, Grief and Loss. I think you may be suprised by what you discover about yourself within our sessions. I use a gentle approach that honours my clients and their experiences and together we tackle the problems you want to deal with.

Life Coaching Counsellors
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.
Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.
Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.
How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
