I believe it is important to work with clients - not dictate to them. My preferred treatment method is to focus on the areas that you want to work on. I believe a partnership not a prescription is important. Sticking to values means more than putting them on a website - it means actually living them. I am genuine, open and also have a sense of humour (though it is twisted/cynical/dark). I work best when clients feel comfortable, if that means we swear a lot in session - I am happy to make that sacrifice! I work clients across many areas from complex trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, depression and workplace issues.

My life purpose is to decrease human suffering. As a clinical psychologist, I believe that human connection is the antidote to human suffering and I use a person-centred humanistic approach with clients to build a connected therapeutic relationship that supports healing and growth.

Nobody comes to see a psychotherapist (and pays the therapist good money) unless they want something to change in their lives. My job is to help clients to identify what's in need of changing, and working with them to find the best way to make the changes.

Hi, I'm Bronwyn, and I specialize in ethical non-monogamy (ENM) and chronic illness through online and in-person counselling. I also work extensively with folks from the neurodivergent, LGBTQI+, kink and BDSM communities. ENM covers a range of relationship structures that fall outside of social norms, such as open-relationships and polyamory. Therapeutic topics often include jealousy, boundary setting, trust, attachment and sexual discovery. My work in the ENM field led me to author a book "The Beginner's Guide to Ethical Non-Monogamy". In this space I'm also known as 'The Polyamory Practitioner'; join me on Instagram and Facebook.

I specialise in working with women and LGBTQI+ folk who are wanting support with trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and body image concerns. Many of my clients experience stigma and micro-aggressions on a daily basis. Some of the main reasons people choose to see me are because they struggle with feeling 'not good enough', or they have difficulty coping with overwhelming emotions, or they are struggling in a world that doesn't seem to accept them. Some of my clients feel disconnected from themselves and are wanting support to work out who they are. Most of my clients would like to feel safer.

I work with heterosexual, multiracial, same sex couples and individuals who are in a place of questioning or are seeking help with a specific situation or event. Couples may be wanting some "fine tuning" in specific areas of their relationship or they may be experiencing a crisis due to an infidelity or breakdown in communication and may be unsure if they can or even want to, stay together. Individuals may be ready to explore childhood issues, dealing with trauma or having an existential crisis. I teach Circle of Security an attachment based parent program for caregivers wanting to parent differently to their parents.
