I am a general psychologist and psychodynamic psychotherapist working in private practice with individuals (16+ years) and couples. My approach to therapy is holistic and considers your unique experience of self, others, and being in the world (not just your symptoms or diagnoses). My approach is predominantly informed by psychoanalytic and emotionally-focused therapy which appeals to those seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and to live in greater harmony with self and others. It is suitable for various diagnosed conditions and general life difficulties alike.
My approach to couples therapy is attachment-focused and experiential, meaning the therapy focuses on deeper (more vulnerable) emotions and unmet attachment needs as a way of altering ineffective cycles of relating and helping couples establish greater connection, safety, and acceptance in their relationship.
