I am sensitive to the lived experiences, diversity and complexity of the LGBTQIA+ community. I am sex-positive and aim to create a space that is inclusive, non-judgemental and able to hold different lives and cultures. We will find this space together. My practice is informed by a long interest in yoga (ashtanga vinyasa), meditation (insight/vipassana) and buddhism (mostly zen). I am interested in the spiritual journey and the existential and deeply personal questions this throws up – particularly when this intersects with being queer. I am also interested in how we construct (and sometimes deconstruct) our ‘working selves’.

I believe in offering justice to people's stories, as we all need a hu mane witness to understand us and all parts of us.
Hi, I'm Alex. I'm a counsellor and clinical supervisor who works from a social justice, hu man rights, and non-pathologising lens. I use existential, trauma-informed and person-centred perspectives in counselling. I offer a gentle and curious approach and will be a co-traveller invested in your journey with you. I will not see you as ill, unwell or disordered, but rather as a hu man who thinks, feels and experiences the world in response to their current or past experiences. I offer clinical supervision both in person and online also.
