Currently taking new clients. Hi, I’m Tessa and I’m a registered counsellor living on beautiful Dharawal Country, in Wollongong, Australia. I care deeply about supporting people of all ages to better understand the many parts that make up who we are. We work together long-term to heal old wounds so that you can feel more connected to yourself and feel more present in the world around you. I'm here to help with a wide variety of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, low self-worth, identity, relationships, isolation, grief and loss.
My therapeutic approach is evidence-based and draws from a variety of practices including Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory and Parts Theory. I am also trained in Exposure and Polyvagal Therapies, and Mindfulness. My practice is strengths-based, non-judgemental, trauma-informed, and person-centred.
