I am a passionate psychologist who takes a holistic approach to the health and wellbeing of clients. Utilising a person-centred, trauma informed approach, I value the therapeutic relationship and focus on fostering a sense of trust and safety. Reflecting the social justice underpinnings of my approach, my work is informed by the values of inclusivity, respect, empathy and compassion. I have worked across a range of settings such as youth and adult mental health, community settings, private practice and within not-for-profit organisations – often with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
I work in collaboration with clients to establish an effective evidence-based therapeutic approach specifically tailored to their needs and goals. I utilise a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI) approach which incorporates elements of solution focused and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I provide an open and non-judgemental space that is culturally sensitive and LGBTIQA+ inclusive. I offer evidence-based assessment and counselling support for a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, stress, relationship cahllenges, grief and loss, trauma and substance use.
