I am a trauma informed counsellor with tertiary and post graduate qualifications in Person Centred Counselling, Gestalt Relational Psychotherapy, Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Therapy, Somatic Psychotherapy, Yoga, Mindfulness, and group facilitation. I am a relational therapist, so my first step is to connect with you to build a safe, compassionate, and authentic relationship. Through this relationship we can gently explore your experiences, uncover your unmet needs, and discover ways to support you towards a more fulfilling life.
I draw on a range of modalities and interventions, and include your whole experience..your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and somatic (body based) sensations to develop your self awareness, increase self acceptance, and build the skills to communicate your needs, feelings, desires, and expectations in constructive and authentic ways.
Through my own personal and professional journey I have found that as we move towards a more authentic expression of ourselves in the world, healing and transformation becomes a natural process. It's less about changing who you are, and more about letting go of all that is not you..old conditionings, fears, limiting beliefs, and constricting ideas.
