I am an AASW (Australian Association of Social Workers) Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. I am passionate about supporting people experiencing depression, anxiety, chronic pain, childhood trauma, borderline personality disorder, anger management, emotional dysregulation, bereavement/grief & loss, life transitions, workplace issues and relationship challenges.
I offer a safe, compassionate and brave therapeutic space where your emotional experiences are seen, heard, and valued. I work with you in developing compassionate understanding about these emotional experiences so the experiences are not fearful anymore. I am inspired by neuroscience, trauma-informed, mindfulness based and compassion focused therapies.
I believe we all do what we can, with what we have to manage the life challenges. As we develop more skills, we could respond to internal and external challenges from a place of understanding and remembering what matters to us and who matters to us. That is a journey.
