Sharon is a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience in the field. She has degrees in psychology and science, and a masters degree in Psychology (Clinical). Alongside her private work she also holds a position for the Department of Health providing both Clinical Psychology outpatient and inpatient assessment and treatment for adults and older adults. As an AHPRA registered supervisor she also provides supervision to postgraduate psychology students and Clinical Psychology registrars.
Sharon uses a variety of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills, Interpersonal therapy and Acceptance and Commitment therapy.
